Position Title: Lead Credit Risk Management Analyst
Location: 2001 Edmund Halley Dr., Reston, VA 20191
Days/Hours: Mon -- Fri / 8am -- 5pm
Summary of Duties:
Develop SQL, SAS, and/or Visual Basic solutions and the ongoing technical support of these reports/models.
Develop stable, scalable, and efficient solutions.
Participate in coordination of large project that crosses over systems and platforms in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders.
Work closely with business groups and lead/coordinate the work of other technical team members.
Identify needs through user requirements, create technical design approach/detail documents and develop the solutions required to implement into production.
Develop end to end solutions/models that require taking a general idea and mapping each step of a process out so "smart macro" logic can be employed to help automate manual tasks.
Provide mentoring and cross-training to team members, along with providing training materials for best demonstrated practices in programming/modeling design patterns.
Identify and enforce design patterns.
Provide technical leadership, clarity and direction for on-site development resources.
Present updates to senior executive managers.
Master's degree Information Systems, Project Management, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance or related and 3 years of experience in the job offered or Project Management, Programming, Database Management, Systems Analyst, Credit Analyst or related.
Employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree Information Systems, Project Management, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance or related and 5 years of experience in lieu of a Master's and 3 years.
Applicants must have the following experience:
(3 years w/MS; 5 years w/BS)
Development or modeling.
SAS or SQL through platforms such as PC SAS, Enterprise Guide or Toad for Business Analysts.
Procedural analysis; analyzing reports and generating conclusions and recommendations for the business areas.
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
(3 years w/ MS or BS)
- Compile and present data for the business areas that address specific process related questions or issues.
